Founder & CEO
The LEOPROMEDIA story began when a 16-year-old Sylvia Molefi got an opportunity to do a voice-over for "SABC1 Program on Ukhozi FM." That one opportunity quickly multiplied into a series of voice acting jobs, but more importantly, it ignited a passion in the young voice actor for media production, which soon led her to work with broadcasting giants like SABC, MultiChoice and E-TV (ENCA). Starting as an intern, she worked her way up to producer, gaining experience across a broad spectrum of media roles, from producing and directing television segments to creative direction, quality control, and everything in between.
Over a decade into her journey, Sylvia returned to where it all began, but this time as the producer and director of voice-over talent and projects.
As content localisation became increasingly in demand, she was perfectly positioned to take on the challenge.
Sylvia worked with major media companies such as Netflix, M-Net, StarTimes, Presto Post and DSTV on high-profile projects, and played pivotal roles, including Head of Dubbing & Localisation, and Master QC & QA. Throughout her career, she has taken on virtually every role in the industry, including Translator, Coordinator, Content Processor, and many others.
Today, Sylvia, together with her supporting cast and talented team, are consolidating all of her experiences and expertise into one enterprise: LeoProMedia. And thus, her story continues.
